Kat Wentz is an arts advocate and administrator in Northeast Ohio. As Operations Manager at GAR Foundation, Kat manages the overall operations, facilities, and administration. In the arts sphere, Kat was the founding Chair of the City of Akron’s Public Art Commission. Previously, she held positions at The National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron, Curated Storefront, and ArtsNow, among others.
Her curatorial practice includes organizing exhibitions and projects for Acme Fresh Market, ArtsNow, Curated Storefront, Emily Davis Gallery, and Harris–Stanton Gallery. Kat received her Master of Arts in Arts Administration from The University of Akron and Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Bowling Green State University.
