Peg’s Foundation, in partnership with GAR Foundation, is proud to announce a multi-year, million dollar initiative to promote excellence in the arts and expand access to meaningful artistic experiences throughout Summit County.
Through this three-year partnership, GAR Foundation’s grant program team will oversee the management and distribution of Peg’s Foundation arts funding. This shared commitment highlights the foundations’ dedication to the arts. Together, they honor Peg Morgan’s vision of the arts and creative expression as a cornerstone of a vibrant and connected community.
“The arts inspire, connect, and strengthen our communities in significant ways,” said Rick Kellar, President and CEO of Peg’s Foundation. “This partnership with GAR Foundation brings Peg Morgan’s legacy to life, nurturing creative expression and making the arts flourish in Summit County.”
By combining their respective arts grantmaking budgets, both foundations aim to amplify their reach and impact. GAR Foundation will leverage its expertise and community connections to direct resources where they will make the greatest difference.
“We’re energized by the opportunity to partner with our great friends and colleagues at Peg’s Foundation to increase artistic experiences for a wider audience across Summit County,” said President of GAR Foundation Christine Amer Mayer. “This gives us a meaningful opportunity for innovative, trust-based philanthropy that can deepen our impact and reach in ways that simply wouldn’t be possible alone.”
This initiative also brings cultural experiences to life, including the newly opened art gallery at 53 First Street in Hudson. “As we continue to Think Bigger, our new campus serves as a dynamic hub for connection, creativity, and community engagement,” said Kellar.
