We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Nicole Chavers as GAR Foundation's new Program Officer! In this role, Nicole will help advance the Foundation’s strategic priorities by assessing and reviewing grant inquiries while collaborating with grantees and community organizations to explore opportunities for funding and partnerships in GAR’s focus areas. She also represents the Foundation on various committees, at convenings, and in public forums.
Nicole brings a wealth of experience from her five years at United Way of Summit & Medina, where she launched Ohio’s first BankOn program and served as Director of Financial Empowerment. Most recently, she worked as a Business Analyst at FirstEnergy.
