We’re thrilled to welcome Jessica Cherok to our team. As Grants & Evaluation Associate, Jessica works with program staff and grantees to manage the Foundation’s grantmaking administration, evaluation projects, and learning initiatives. Prior to joining GAR Foundation, Jessica worked as a special projects manager at Project Learn of Summit County. Before that, she was a program coordinator at Leadership Akron.

A dedicated community advocate, Jessica spends much of her time volunteering for local organizations. She currently serves on the board of Torchbearers and on the Who is Your SHEro? committee of the Women’s Endowment Fund of the Akron Community Foundation. Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Ohio University and lives in Highland Square, where you can often find her walking and listening to audiobooks.
