Christine Amer Mayer named among top 100 most influential leaders

Christine Amer Mayer, president of GAR Foundation, once again was named one of Inside Business Magazine’s top 100 most influential people in Northeast Ohio. The annual Power 100 list boasts a variety of CEOs, politicians, and civic leaders who are wielding the most influence in the region. Mayer has appeared on the publication’s list for three years.
A former litigator, Mayer has been with GAR since 2001 and oversees the foundation’s annual grant distribution. She has a special interest in regional economic development and has been heavily involved in The Fund For Our Economic Future – a philanthropic collaboration focused on improving the economic trajectory of Northeast Ohio, where she presently serves as vice chair. She has also focused considerable efforts on Summit County’s arts and cultural assets. Christine serves on the boards of United Way of Summit County, Leadership Akron, and the Greater Akron Chamber.
