Christina Lauria spent her professional career at Roadway Express Inc. and YRC Worldwide where she focused on strategic planning, client engagement, portfolio management, talent development, systems development, and innovation. She was appointed as an officer at Roadway Express in 1998.
Since retiring from the logistics industry, Christina has worked as an independent industry consultant, as well as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer at the university level. She has also deployed her business skills in board service for nonprofit organizations including Walsh Jesuit High School, Seton Catholic School, and the University of Akron College of Business.
Christina earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Akron, and has received many community awards and recognition, such as the Summit Education Initiative Community Volunteer of the Year, Partners in Education.
She is the proud mom of daughter Cara and son Alex. Christina lives in Hudson with her husband Chas. Believe it or not: Christina immigrated to the United States from England as a child and spends much time visiting with relatives who remain there and throughout the world; however, more recently, you’ll likely find her further west visiting her children in Utah and Colorado.
