Brad Schroeder enjoyed a 31-year career at Roadway Express, Inc. where he held several positions including Vice President of Finance. In recent years, Brad has served as CFO, Treasurer, and a member of the Board of Directors for ACRT Services, Inc., a national utility vegetation management company headquartered in Stow, Ohio. Brad completed his undergraduate education at Bowling Green State University in accounting and earned an MBA in Finance at the University of Akron.
An alumnus of Leadership Akron (Class 22), Brad is a proud and active member of the Akron community. He has shared his talents through board service for many organizations such as Summa Health System, the University of Akron Finance Advisory Board, the Akron Public Schools Business Advisory Board, Goodwill Industries, United Way of Summit County, and the Summit County Social Services Advisory Board.
In 2019, Brad received the Dr. Frank L Simonetti Distinguished Business Alumni Award from the University of Akron.
Brad and his wife Renee have three children. Believe it or not: most days during the winter months, Brad can be found in a sea kayak in the Gulf of Mexico.
