The first of two webinars in the returning Teaching Teachers with Technology (T3) series explored innovative solutions for adapting to the changing needs of students.

Attendees learned about projects funded through previous EIG grants focused on music and art therapy as well as mental health, while hearing from presenters on discursive positioning, attention span, diversifying dissemination techniques, and emotional regulation.

* Art and music therapy with Edie Hardin-Steiner at Bridges Learning Center

* Mental health with Dr. Jessica Russo at Norton Middle School

Join us in early spring of 2023 for the second webinar in the series. Watch the first T3 Webinar, held on October 27, 2022, here:

About the webinar series “Teaching Teachers with Technology (T3)”: Research has provided evidence that technology can help teachers teach and students learn in online, blended, or face-to-face environments. The purpose of this webinar series (titled, “Teaching Teachers with Technology” or T3) is to provide introductions to cutting-edge topics that could help teachers and students in K-12 learning environments. These webinars are not lectures; rather, they are interactive seminars where participants will have a chance to learn, ask, and share.

Presenters include Dr. Rick Ferdig, Ph.D., the Summit Professor of Learning Technologies and Professor of Educational Technology at Kent State University; Angela Carter, Recruitment and Retention Manager, Turnaround Specialist at Akron Public Schools; Eric Ling, Dean at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy; and Lucille Esposito, Consulting EIG Program Manager at GAR Foundation.
